This is an example “base” program for serious outdoor challenges requiring one to carry load for long distances. If this seems intimidating, this is an intermediate plan designed for a combat arms soldier or SWAT officer. Although the principles are the same, I will meet clients where they are at in their fitness journey. Programs are also tailored for equipment availability. How are we different?

People often take their safety for granted when heading into the outdoors. This goes beyond knowing what to do if you get lost or having basic survival skills. Although those tasks are critical…have you given thought to the fitness demands of packing out hundreds of pounds of elk in mountainous terrain? Or you had to cut your bucket list mountain climb short because you couldn’t handle the load of your pack?
